Boobs Over Brains?

August 8, 2010

“The human head weighs eight pounds.”

At least that’s what the cute little spikey-haired kid from Jerry Maguire said.

I also recently heard that the average pair of D-size breasts weigh 9.5 pounds. Which makes me wonder how much my double-Ds weigh. Either way, probably more than my head — and definitely more than my brain, which Wikipedia says weighs about 3 pounds. I don’t know why it never occurred to me, but this sort of upsets me.

For years I have wanted a fella to love me for what’s between my ears rather than what Victoria is secretly holding up for me, but the truth is my brain is probably only a third of the size of those other two lovely assets combined. So, maybe it isn’t fair for me to want my noggin to be valued higher than my jiggly parts.

I dunno — the whole thing just got me thinking. (My boobs, on the other hand, haven’t done anything with the information.)

I like you; and I haven’t even SEEN your boobs! ;-D Therefore, I’m proof that a man can like you for your brain. Well, as I said before; I followed your smile, and am smitten by your words.

That being said, ‘physical attraction’ is a BIG part of an attraction! Physical properties are the basis for chemistry. 😉 So, if I were to ‘love’ you; I would love you mind, body, and soul.

    1) Size isn’t everything. Your brain can do a lot of very cool stuff that your boobs can’t. It’s understandable that you choose to prioritize it. (Then again, under the right circumstances, your boobs can squirt milk, which is also kind of cool and which your brain can’t do.)

    2) It’s ok to be liked for both, I think, as well as for everything else that makes up who you are. You’re a package, you know? As long as the boobs aren’t all they like, I figure it’s all good.

    Anna Nicole Smith.

    By herself: Not bad.

Not enough viagra in the world to counter her lack of intelligence.

Though, in hindsight, that was probably the horse tranquilizers talking.

Meh. The grass is always greener….

I’m pretty sure my brain weighs more than my junk. And believe me, that can be kinda upsetting, too. :-p
